Mission and Values

Freedom Church Vision

To bring people far from God close to God as we love Jesus and others faithfully.

Freedom Church Values

Jesus: is our message
The purpose of FREEDOM Church is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. We are Jesus people, not religious people. Methods will come and go, yet our message will remain the same.

The Bible: is our foundation
God’s word is our guide, authority, and the infallible truth in everything. We stand firm where it stands firm and remain flexible where it remains flexible. We are intentional in keeping the Bible central to all ministry and teaching.

The Holy Spirit: is our empowerment
We rely on the power of the Holy Spirit for every aspect of Christian living and for the mission that God has given us.

People: are our heart
Our heart is for ALL people. All people are loved by Jesus. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far away from God. We believe that our light is best seen in the night.

Generosity: is our privilege
Generosity is about giving more that what is required. We see generosity as a privilege. We’re generous with our time, talents and treasure. We go first in our giving. God has given richly towards us, it is our honor to give back to Him.

Excellence: is our spirit
We are going to always do the best with what we have. We’re on time, engaged and prepared. We don’t do things halfway. If we’re gonna do it, it’s to the best of our ability.

Servant Leadership: is our identity
If you’re too big to serve then you are too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different but they are all important. If you aren’t helping, you aren’t helping.

Honor: is our calling
We are vocal with our honor, meaning we are not stingy with our words. We submit to leadership and are thankful for spiritual authority. We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us. We honor and care for those God has placed under our leadership.

Passion: is our pursuit
Everything we do, we do with passion. From our worship to our service we do it with Holy Spirit energy. Passion drives us. Passion for Jesus, passion for people and passion for His church.

Prayer and Worship: is our connection
Connection with God through prayer and worship is absolutely essential. Times of prayer and passionate praise is at the forefront of all our gatherings.

What We Believe

The doctrine and beliefs of Freedom Church

We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. Each time we partake of communion we remember Jesus lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. In order to receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ and submit to His will for our lives. God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and powerful lives in order to help others more effectively. In order to live the holy, fruitful, and power-filled lives God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water, set our mind on Him and His purpose, and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe God has individually equipped us and corporately gathered us as His living body so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, strengthen the Church, and share the Gospel with the community in which we live.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised and will rule and reign on this earth. History will conclude as the wicked are judged and the righteous enter a new heaven and a new earth.
